Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life
By Roxie Nafousi
A great starting point for those beginning their manifesting journey, or for those who have already begun but need some structure around their learning and application. The book is ordered into seven fundamental and actionable steps, which provide a very clear direction and process for manifesting.
There are some really positive messages in the book too around overcoming fear and doubt, practicing gratitude, and some wise words on dealing with envy, particularly in the age of social media, in chapters peppered with personal anecdotes and examples.
At 160 pages (I have the Kindle version), it’s a good length and doesn’t skimp on the details, but is compact enough that you can get through it in a reasonable amount of time. So, if you’re interested in a straightforward approach to how manifestation can help you to achieve your life goals, this is the book you’ve been looking for.

Super Attractor: Methods for Manifesting a Life beyond Your Wildest Dreams
By Gabrielle Bernstein
A #1 New York Times best-selling author and successful podcaster with over 1 million monthly listeners, Gabrielle Bernstein is one of the leading figures in modern spiritual self-help.
That anyone can become a Super Attractor is an inspiring message in itself. But the book does well at communicating effective practical approaches, such as identifying the seven blocks to attraction and laying out methods for change in chapter three. Or the Choose Again method, which is designed to recognize your own negative thinking and take corrective action to switch back up to a more positive mindset.
Alignment with the Universe and feeling good are front-and-center in this book, describing a manifestation process that is focused on effortless co-creation. This friendly guide walks you through the whole process, covering all the bases of manifesting the life of your dreams.

By John Assaraf
If you’re committed to making changes and improving your life, Having It All is a New York Times Bestseller that provides the background, lessons, framework, and practical exercises to achieve enduring success and greater happiness.
Starting with stories of John’s challenging early life experiences, the book moves onto his secrets for success, which sets the foundation for life design and taking things to the next level.

I’m a fan of John Assaraf’s style and I enjoyed the way he takes readers on a journey through this well-structured book. What I also loved is the balance between the spiritual and practical aspects of personal development. For me, that’s where the gold sits and that’s why Having It All is still worth a read in 2024.
The Secret
By Rhonda Byrne
The list wouldn’t be complete without Rhonda Byrne’s classic, The Secret. It’s the first book on manifestation that I read and it’s fresh in my mind after re-reading again for an article on the best quotes by Rhonda in the book.
A global success, 34 million copies sold and counting, it’s a great introduction to manifesting with the Law of Attraction. It’s an incredibly well-presented book that walks you through everything in a way that just makes sense. A massive credibility factor comes from the contributors and co-authors of the book. It’s a who’s who of the world of the Law of Attraction – Bob Proctor, Marci Shimoff, Jack Canfield, and authors included in this list of books such as John Assaraf and Mike Dooley.
It’s an inspiring read and be prepared for the end result… you’ll want to explore the topic further.
The Magic of Manifesting
By Ryuu Shinohara
Another great book for anyone new to the idea of manifesting, or those who have tried but are yet to find success.
Shinohara’s straightforward and structured approach makes the concepts easy to understand. Embedded within the chapters, starting with the ‘Sticky Thoughts Technique’ in chapter two and concluding with ‘Meditation and Visualization with Emotion’ in chapter nine, the book walks readers through 15 practical techniques to get the most out of their manifestation efforts.
A key feature of the book is that it encourages readers to take action. This is also supported by seven bonus resources including the Manifestor Masterlist, meditation guidance resources, and more.
This is a comprehensive guidebook that blends the basis for and theory of manifesting, together with guidance on how to practice manifestation successfully.
Think and Grow Rich
By Napoleon Hill
First published in 1937, this is a timeless classic in personal development publishing. The book is still widely read today with an ever-growing number of positive ratings and reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
Hill describes how the idea for the book was first conceived in 1908 when he met with industrialist and philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie. It was suggested to Hill that he interview the most successful people of the time and synthesize the information into a blueprint for achievement. Think and Grow Rich was published and lays out a set of principles for achieving success, known as the 13 Steps to Riches.
While this book isn’t a publication from the manifestation genre, it does touch on many overlapping ideas such as maintaining a positive mindset, setting clear goals, self-belief, visualization, affirmations, the subconscious mind, and trusting your intuition.
With 80 million sales and counting, its place in publishing as a self-improvement behemoth is cemented. It might be almost 90 years old, but the principles are as relevant today as they always have been.
Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams
By Mike Dooley
For anyone that needs a little positivity and motivation, Mike Dooley’s Infinite Possibilities is built around the core concept that each of us has the power to shape our reality through thought, belief, and action.
The topics are presented in a structure that is easy-to-follow, and dip in and out of. And Dooley’s engaging style makes this an uplifting read that encourages readers to see themselves as powerful creators who can begin putting together the life they want.
There’s some great advice on how to practice visualization, coupled with down-to-earth, actionable suggestions for achieving the life of your dreams. Encouragement can also be found the inspiring examples from the author’s own life journey.
The book lives up to its title, with the message that each of us has infinite possibilities to live the most meaningful, fulfilling, and happy life possible.
